Just so you know

In case you're not aware, this is a user site not an 'IBM' site. There are IBMers here but this is not the place to log actual bugs and get official assistance.

I'm not sure if this is true in the 8.5.x code set but back in the dark days of 6.5, if there were too many font files on a PC, you'd see some weirdness with fonts (*). I believe the cutoff was either 100 or 150 fonts. Try an experiment and drop the number of fonts on a system and see if the problem goes away.

(*) In our case, we wanted to add a code 3 of 9 bar code font and the font, if installed, failed to print a bar code if the font directory had over 100/150 font files.
